Our resident Spanish-speaking psychologist, Dr Delaney Skerrett, is a Senior Registered Psychologist in Brisbane who speaks fluent Spanish and works with people from linguistically diverse backgrounds. Will I need to understand or speak English to see a psychologist?
No. CFHP has psychologists who offer therapy sessions entirely in Spanish. You can speak in the language that feels most comfortable for you — Spanish, English, or a mix of both.
Do I need a referral to book a session?
No, you do not need a referral to book an appointment. For patients with a GP endorsed Mental Health Treatment Plan, you may be eligible to claim rebates on up to 10 counselling and therapy sessions.
