Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of psychology services does NDIS funding cover?
NDIS funding generally covers non-clinical treatments that can be delivered by NDIS-registered psychologists and mental health professionals. This includes services that help with building the mental health supports of the individual, such as counselling and coaching to help improve social skills, the ability to focus, or decision-making. The goal of these services is to provide individuals with greater independence in their daily lives.
Can I obtain both a Mental Health Treatment Plan and NDIS funding?
Yes, it is possible to get a mental health treatment plan in addition to NDIS funding — mental health treatment plans can help you access clinical treatments for other symptoms that may or may not be related to your disability.
Can you help with a review for NDIS plan renewal or extension?
Yes, our NDIS psychologists can provide written letters to be used as supporting evidence in an NDIS plan renewal or extension. We can also conduct cognitive and functional assessments for greater clarity of your individual condition.
