Employee Assistance Programs Brisbane

CFHP offers professional and confidential counselling services for businesses and their employees through comprehensive employee assistance programs. Our counsellors and psychologists can provide support to employees who are facing personal or work-related issues and help manage or resolve them.

employee assistance program

Enhance productivity & motivation, decrease absenteeism, and create a better team environment for all employees.

The cost of absenteeism, loss of productivity, or replacing an employee can be huge, so retaining talented employees is an important factor when developing or maintaining a successful business. Employees who feel supported and cared for by management are happier and more inclined to support their company towards success. In turn, this makes them more responsible and accountable.

Companies who do have an employee assistance program (EAP) have received the following benefits:

  • Decrease in sick leave and lateness
  • Improved productivity and motivation
  • Lower staff turnover
  • Reduced workplace accidents and incidents

EAP Counselling for Brisbane Businesses

Designed to enhance team and individual performance and well-being in the workplace, EAPs are strategic programs which make counselling and other forms of assistance, advice and information accessible to employees on a systematic and uniform basis.

Our EAP Services in Brisbane offer:

  • Experienced and empathetic psychologists
  • Ongoing priority access to solutions-focused counselling sessions
  • Pay-as-you-go options for local businesses and organisations

Our Employee Assistance Program is tailored to your employees’ or company’s specific needs. Not only do we provide EAPs to our corporate clients, we also offer affordably bundled corporate support packages to assist your staff with the following;

Personal Crisis Management

Marriage/Relationship/Family problems

Stress

Emotional Concerns (eg. Anxiety and Depression)

Substance Dependence and/or other Dependencies and Addictions

Conflict Management and Dealing with Difficult People

Goal Setting

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

Redundancy Counselling

Workplace & Career Counselling

Some of our corporate clients only require us to provide confidential counselling to their employees on a need basis. Others prefer the option of an intervention in case of a crisis, others still, prefer a ‘stress debriefing’ counselling formula available to their employees.

How it Works

Getting started with our EAP services can be done in 3 simple steps:

1. Make an Enquiry

Contact us via a call at (07) 3211 1117, or submit an enquiry through our online form on this page. Our team will be in touch with you shortly to provide more information about the extent of EAP services that we offer, as well as answer any questions you have.

2. Customise EAP services

After understanding the available EAP options for your business, you will need to decide which you would like to include in your service. At CFHP, we provide two main options for EAP: ongoing counselling sessions and a pay-as-you-go arrangement.

3. Accept the agreement

Once we have confirmed your EAP service options, we’ll send you a simple agreement that outlines the terms and conditions of the service. Simply indicate which options you want included in the service, sign the agreement, and send it back to us to complete the signup.

If your business wants to switch from an existing EAP counselling service, CFHP can assist with the transition process. In order to continue providing counselling to employees benefiting from the existing EAP, we will need your business to provide us with a list of the attending individuals and current schedules. All sessions will still be conducted in full confidentiality.

Are counselling services offered to upper management too?

Absolutely. At CFHP, we understand that each level of responsibility within the workplace comes with different challenges and stresses. Employees in upper management have equal opportunity to benefit from our EAP counselling services.

Is EAP counselling worth it?

Employees who are burdened with personal or work-related issues can often become less productive or responsive at work, causing issues such as lateness or low quality of work. EAP counselling provides support in lifting the burden from affected employees by giving them a genuine avenue to voice their concerns and de-stress.

EAP counselling will be worth it in the long run, as it can significantly improve the work and family life of your employees, allowing them to work at their full potential while maintaining and taking care of their mental health.
